Sometimes a person’s nasal tip is disproportional to the rest of the nose. If that is the case, then, instead of a full rhinoplasty, the person will only require nasal tip surgery. This may require excising excessive cartilage and/or adding a cartilage strut implant to make the tip more distinct and proportional to the rest of the nose.
