Epicanthoplasty

The epicanthal fold is a skin fold of the upper eyelid, covering the inner corner (medial canthus) of the eye. This fold is present in most Asians and may give the illusion of having smaller eyes and a wider nose bridge. Epicanthoplasty is a surgical procedure to open up the inner eye corner to make the eyes look bigger. This procedure is more popular among Asians and it is often done with Asian Double Eyelid surgery.
