Arm Lift

Brachioplasty, or upper arm lift, is a procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the underarm region to the elbow. This loose upper arm skin can result from weight loss or aging. This procedure involves the removal of sagging skin, tightening and smoothing the underlying supportive tissue, and possibly reducing localized pockets of fat in the upper arm region. The results of the procedure are visible almost immediately after procedure, but may be obscured by some swelling and bruising. Full recovery takes several weeks. The results of a brachioplasty should be relatively permanent provided that a stable weight and general fitness are maintained.
